Mason Resource Persons: David Canning and Sang-Hyop Lee The 2007 workshop and a follow-on workshop to be offered in 2008 are designed to facilite participants' research on the demographic dividends. This year's workshop reviews existing knowledge about demographic dividends, including what is known about the contribution of gender roles as a channel of influence from population change to economic growth; reviews research methodology for studying demographic dividend; and helps participants develop and apply research protocol for studying questions about the demographic dividends and the links between population and economic change more broadly.
